COVID-19 Emergency Food Intervention Drive (CEFID)
- 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
- Abuja, Nigeria
One of the biggest challenges we face today as a global community is uncertainty.
At Nohunger Food Bank, we’ve also asked how we’ll continue to reach the hungry while many of our meal packaging events are postponed or canceled due to COVID-19 and our meal inventory is rapidly shrinking. While we still face many uncertainties, we would still continue to distribute food items to the needy in our communities.
No hunger Food Bank will distribute meal packs, along with bulk quantities of rice and noodles from our inventory. The meals and rice can be used as take-home rations to meet children’s nutritional needs.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on school children in Nigeria, with about 39 million children and youth affected by school closures. Our mission at No hunger Food Bank is to see that no one goes to bed hungry.
