Nourishing Lives, Empowering Communities!
No Hunger Initiatives aka No Hunger Food Bank (NHFB) is a registered national non-governmental organization dedicated to providing food assistance, empowering vulnerable communities, preventing food waste & loss, delivering hunger relief, and improving food & nutrition security while promoting environmental sustainability. Since 2019, NHFB has been providing food and nutrition security interventions across Nigeria, supporting Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in IDP camps, persons with disabilities (PWDs), indigenous women, displaced kids, unemployed youth, the girl children, and vulnerable communities.
Nationwide Volunteer Presence Across Nigeria's States
No Hunger Volunteers proudly known as The No Hunger Champions maintain a continuous, on-the-ground presence across all 36 states of Nigeria and the FCT. This network is dynamically active both on and off the field. When they are not deploying hands-on food assistance, the majority of The No Hunger Champions are actively driving critical food security research behind the scenes. This constant blend of frontline action and data-driven insights ensures that whether conducting vital research or swinging into immediate field operations, they are always working to end hunger.

Using Evidence-Based Research to End Hunger
We conduct evidence-based research to better understand the underlying drivers of hunger, hidden hunger, malnutrition, and food loss and waste, as well as the needs of vulnerable communities, so that our programs are targeted, effective, and continuously improved. Our work is implemented across communities throughout Nigeria, particularly in the north where hunger is most prevalent.
